I WILL LET MY HEART BE BROKEN
I will let my heart be broken
for a world in need
for mouths that hunger
for wounds that bleed
I will give the 'cup' of water to the thirsty
the loaf to the hungry
I will be the hands of Jesus
lifting up the fallen
holding tight the insecure
entering the vacant place
of want and desolation
I will let my heart be tender
enough to share another's pain
I will share God's rich resources
to channel love to all
I will take another's trouble
and risk myself for him/her
