Graeme
Graeme comes with many years of life's experience in a broad range of professions and trades. He initially worked in the building and construction industry and then moved to a farming career.
As a result of a deep and painful time in his life he felt called of God to train as a pastor and subsequently a counsellor.
From 1985 to 1988 he trained in behavioral science with the Elkanah Counselling Center before moving on to the Degree of Bachelor of Ministries through the Australian College of Theology. This study was undertaken at the Lilydale Campus.
Graeme also trained for one year at the Whitley Campus of the Melbourne College of Divinity - Melbourne University.
'In 2005 he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling at Tabor College in Ringwood and is now registered as a full Clinical Member of the CCAA (Christian Counsellor's Association of Australia) which in turn has allowed him to become a full clinical Member of P.A.C.F.A. (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia).
He trained with the Boronia Psychiatric Clinic and has undertaken a course of Suicide Intervention Training with Living Works Inc.
Graeme manages the service and is the booking officer.
He counsels mainly in the areas of relationship, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, men's anger, sexual abuse and domestic violence. He runs a monthly men’s night that deals with the commonalties and issues of manhood.

Tim
Tim started working with ValleyCare in December 2005, working with a range of clients, in particular those suffering marital problems. He also works in his own counselling practice which he has been operating since late 2004.
Tim's background is in Information Technology [B.Sc.(App. Maths), Grad Dip. D.P.], where he worked for many years in Government and private industry. An opportunity arose for him to assess his career directions after 27 years as an IT professional, and he decided to change career. He undertook part time study to gain his Diploma in Professional Counselling, through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, and so began his new career.
A member of the Australian Counsellors Association and the Federation of Victorian Counsellors, Tim brings much experience to be of assistance to those questioning their direction in life and for those struggling to find the work-life balance they desire.
Tim is married with 2 adult children, both of whom are now married. He is also an active member in his role as an Elder at Liberty Family Church in Healesville.
